Strategic monitoring and continuous assessment committees

The Monitoring and Assessment Committee is a consultative committee whose main function is to coordinate the assessment process of the programmes cofinanced with the ERDF, the ESF and the Cohesion Fund in the programming period 2007-2013, according to the requirements of articles 47 and 48 of Regulation 1083/2006 and the guidelines of the Committee’s working document nº 5.

In addition, the Committee constitutes a platform supporting the implementation of the “Plan for the Strategic Monitoring and Continuous Assessment of the ERDF, the ESF and Cohesion Fund 2007-2013”, as well as the development of assessment methodologies, studies of the indicator system, the exchange of good practices and publicity for the assessments made during the programming period.
