Operational programmes are the programming documents approved by the European Commission to develop and realise a community support framework, made up of a coherent series of priority axes composed of multi-annual measures, for which recourse to one or more Structural Funds is permitted. An integrated regional operational programme is an operational programme to be applied to a specific reason, the financing for which is provided by several Funds. There are also multiregional or sectorial operational programmes for the series of Objective nº 1 regions.
