EQUAL, a community initiative, is part of the European Union’s strategy to create more and better jobs and to ensure that no-one is denied access to such jobs.
Financed by the European Social Fund (ESF), EQUAL finances new experiments in the fight against discrimination and inequality suffered both by those with jobs and those who are seeking jobs. Cross-border co-operation, innovation, the teaching of skills, themed and association-related approach, disclosure and integration of policies and practices are EQUAL's key principles.
