Article 29 of Regulation (EC) Nº 1083/2006 envisages analysis of the contribution of the Programmes cofinanced with the Funds, at NSRF level, by means of the preparation of two strategic monitoring reports in 2009 and 2012. The basic aim of Strategic Monitoring is to analyse the contribution of the programmes cofinanced by the Structural and Cohesion Funds in compliance with the strategic aims of the NSRF and European Cohesion Policy in general.
