Open Week 2024

Semana Abierta 2024.pngIn celebration of the Open Government Week 2024, which will take place between 10 and 16 June, the General Secretariat of European Funds of the Ministry of Finance is organising a competition for all citizens. The objective of this competition is to highlight the impact of European funds in our country. The competition slogan is "What do the European Funds do for us?", and it will run throughout Open Government Week on the social network X (formerly Twitter). It will be open to all users over the age of 14 who are resident in Spain.

Between the 10 and 14 June, our profile on the social network X will publish a question daily. Participants will be invited to respond to these questions, either individually or collectively. The questions posed will be open-ended, subjective, or creative in nature, allowing for responses that are not objectively correct. The responses that garner the most engagement will be rewarded. The number of interactions, which may be defined as the count of 'replies', 'reposted' and 'likes' received, will be used as the basis for analysis.

The tallying of responses will remain open for a period of 24 hours following the dissemination of the question. The three responses to each question that have received the greatest number of interactions will be rewarded (a total of 15 individuals) with a guided visit to the Museo Nacional del Prado, a partner of the competition. The Prado has developed a few significant projects that have been financed with European funds.

Consult the Competition Rules (pdf).
