The Monitoring Committee is the main managing agency of an Operational Programme. Its internal Regulation ensures the presence of all institutions that fund their activities with European funds, other institutions representative of civil society and, where appropriate, independent experts who assess and provide information on matters related to Fund management strategy. •OPs for Convergence Regions: Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Galicia.
•OPs for Phasing-out Regions: Asturias, Murcia, Ceuta and Melilla.
•OPs for Phasing-in Regions: Castile and León, Valencian Community and the Canary Islands.
•OPs for Competitiveness Regions: Aragon, Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Catalonia, Community of Madrid, Navarra, Basque Country and La Rioja.
